oooh hey.
i'm hannah!
Floral Preservation Artist
Recovering Perfectionist
Corporate Drop-Out
Backyard Gardener
Chicken Mom
Serial Hobbyist
Nostalgia Lover
and i'm dying to get my hands on your dying flowers!
HOW IT STARTED
After experiencing burnout in my career, I made the decision to trade it all in for a much more intentional and simple way of life. I have always been a creative and have had a passion for crafting for as long as I remember, and my time away from the corporate world allowed me to slow down and get back to those roots. Over the past four years, my focus has been at home experimenting with any art form I can get my hands on and discovering my passion for gardening.
I first discovered the art of pressing flowers when I was learning to grow flowers in my own garden. I had this deep desire to memorialize the season of life that brought me back to my truest self. It was during that time I realized I could pass it on and help someone else hold on to their most monumental moments.
The art of pressing flowers often requires you to deconstruct and then rebuild piece by piece. While it may seem scary at first to take things apart, I have learned it is safe to let go of perfectionism and have grown to appreciate the slow process of putting things back together.
I hope that my art will allow you to slow down and remember the little moments that piece together your life.
When I’m not pressing flowers, you can probably find me teaching my chickens new tricks, DIYing a room in our home, lounging with a good book in front of my face or trying to keep my garden alive.

When you choose me
as your artist, you're choosing...
-
Someone who will focus on the details.
-
Someone who lets you have the final say with your design.
-
Someone who thoughtfully curates, intentionally designs & meticulously pieces together a work of pressed flower art that feels authentic to your love story.
-
Someone who is always educating herself to become even better.

I'm the proud owner
of 12 of the best chickens that we've named
The Pecky Blinders (iykyk). You may even hear our rooster, Thomas Shelby, say hello when you drop off your flowers
at our home studio!

Get to know me...
I buy more books
than I can possibly read in a timely manner.
BUT, you can usually find me reading at least 3 of those books at one time.

My favorite place is at the top of a mountain. Any mountain.
Just don't mind the heavy breathing it took to get me there.

I'm an avid
backyard gardener. My passion for growing my own food & flowers in my backyard garden is how I first started pressing flowers.

I'm married to my
best friend who is my biggest fan and supporter. See a picture on this website?--he probably took it. See a video on my socials?--he probably filmed it. He's also the owner of a woodworking biz that happens to make all of PTS's frames!
